Recently, it was Thanksgiving here in America, and we had a whole week off from school. It was nice to stay and home and relax a bit, but I still had some homework to do. On Wednesday, we went to an island called Catalina Island. It was a small island with a small town, and we stayed at a hotel there. We also went on a couple of tours, and we saw fish, buffalo, and deers. I thought it was very fun. Then, we returned home on Thursday (Thanksgiving day), and went to a friend's house to eat dinner.

On Friday, I went shopping because it was Black Friday. Black Friday is a day of the year that many stores go on sale, or reduce the prices of their products. I went to the mall and met several of my friends. We ended up shopping for around 7 hours! I bought a pair of boots and jacket for very good prices, and I even helped one of my friends pick out a pair of boots! I love shopping! haha...

Winter should be coming soon, and I'm thinking that it will be cold. Is it cold over there during the winter?

星期五是黑色星期五，所以我出去买东西了。星期五是一年之中唯一一天许多商店打折降价销售的时候。我去了购物中心，遇见了几个朋友。 结果一起逛了七个小时呢！我用很便宜的价钱买了一双靴子和夹克。甚至还帮我一个朋友买了一双靴子！

冬天快到了，我觉得这将会变冷。你那冬天冷么？
