介绍的一个好莱坞的一个女明星的故事。其中有几个片段她在拍在泥巴里走路的场景几条不过就和导演闹翻了而且在喝酒后打了一个警察（美国警察因为二战灯火管制让她关车灯）被送到精神病院。她前男友上疯人院看她，在门口有小混混出来和他说就花几美元就能玩到女明星。讲述挺坎坷的明星路。

名字就是《弗朗西斯》Frances (1982) ，根据好莱坞女演员弗朗西斯法默的生平改编。
